Recently, I have heard some people saying things about MineZ and I want to put the record straight. These changes fix most longstanding bugs and problems that the current MineZ has had, and will allow us to finally build upon the game and add new features into MineZ. This will allow you to have a direct impact on balancing and improving the game! I’m happy to finally peel the curtain back on the development of this game. I hope this will make MineZ what it once was and build upon it for a future where players can always return and enjoy it!

The build team has toiled throughout this process, so I thought I’d just leave you with this — coming with the release of the re-write, after PTR testing has been completed. Civ-War was a spin-off of Civcraft that was originally hosted on Shotbow years ago and eventually became its own stand-alone game mode. Owing to the game modes’ complexity came the enormity of hosting it on Shotbow. We’ve seen Civ-War have a respectable following, however, we could not sustain their usage. With that, we had to make the tough decision to look at other uses for the hardware being used and we have a plan to allow our development team to start work on a new project, one we hope will increase our stability in the coming months. We wish Civ-War and it’s team all the best wherever they move onto next. Having played the mode myself I have no doubt that they will continue to find fans of the Civilization style game mode in the Minecraft community.
